Sfânta Treime Neo-Gothic Bulgarian catholic church biserica Arad Romania bulgarians romaniansBiserica bulgara Sfânta Treime (Holy Trinity Bulgarian church) of Vinga, Arad county is a neo-gothic church built by Catholic Bulgarians, who had found refuge here after rebelling against the Ottoman Empire in their native Bulgaria.

After having been destroyed by the Turks, Vinga village was repopulated by Bulgarians together with a Romanian minority in the XVIII century. In the last decades, Bulgarians have either moved to cities or back to Bulgaria. Today, Romanians constitute the majority.
