Cerdacul Stanciului – carstic cave located in Arges county. It translates to “Stanciu’s veranda” – Stanciu was a XVIII century legendary “haiduc” (or haiduk – Romanian synonym of a real-life Robin Hood). The location served as a good spot for “haiduci” to oversee the surroundings and the roads, hence the name it received.
