Bears’ cave – located in Apuseni mountains, Bihor county.
Discovered in 1975, it was named after the skeletons found within the cave – over 140 skeletons of Ursus Spelaeus – species which went extinct more than 25.000 years ago. Half of the cave is open to tourists, the other half is strictly for scientific research.
