The 30th Honor Guard and Protocol Regiment “Mihai Viteazul” (Regimentul 30 Gardă şi Protocol “Mihai Viteazul”) is the most important honor guard unit of the Romanian Land Forces.
The 30th Honor Guard and Protocol Regiment “Mihai Viteazul” was created in 1860 by ruling prince Alexandru Ioan Cuza – who denoted himself as the creator of the modern Romanian state, which also included modern military structures.
Its headquarters are located is in the capital city Bucharest.
